In 1961, a 27 year old Kirkland was unaware that one photo shoot with Marilyn Monroe, the sexiest woman in the world, would set his career on a new course.
Since then Kirkland has photographed countless models, celebrities and actors such as Sophia Loren, Andy Warhol, Coco Chanel, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Robert De Niro, Michael Jackson, John Lennon plus many more.
Throughout his 60-year career, Kirkland has also worked on the set of over one hundred motion pictures including The Sound of Music, Titanic, Australia, The Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge.
