    Front Row with David Downton was an Australian Premiere exhibition presented by Garden City, featuring a capsule collection of 12 works drawn by world renowned fashion illustrator, David Downton.

    The works were inspired by David’s observations sitting front row at Paris Fashion Week’s hottest couture shows including Dior, Chanel, Versace, Schiaparelli and Valentino.

    Featuring over 22 iconic photographs, the collection of limited edition prints provided an intriguing glimpse into over 50 years of the entertainment industry.

    Sourced from all around the world, the carefully curated exhibition included stunning vintage pieces by Italian design masters such as Bitossi, Carlo Moretti, Alvino Bagni and Rosenthal-Netter.

    Their Heart on Their Sleeve

    Internationally renowned painter Stormie Mills and photographer Frances Andrijich teamed up to present Their Heart on Their Sleeve, an exhibition that celebrated tattoos and the reasons people choose to get them.

    For the exhibition, Andrijich photographed 10 subjects who sport Mills-inspired tattoos, and Mills then painted representations of the subjects’ internal portrait, intertwining the paintings with the photographs.

    Split into three series, Solaris, Phantasms and Altars, this exhibition featured a collection of abstract minimal sculptural objects oriented towards the future and crafted by hand using diverse materials.
